Shimla: The Himachal Pradesh High Court has issued a notice to the state government for upgrading government schools without following a proper procedure.

A Division Bench comprising Acting Chief Justice Mansoor Ahmed Mir and Justice Kuldip Singh directed the Chief Secretary, the Principal Secretary and the Director (Education) to file their replies within four weeks.

The court passed this order on a letter addressed to the Chief Justice, alleging that the state government was upgrading government schools without following the proper procedure.
