Virbhadra Singh led Govt claiming to have initiated many developmental programs and believes that Govt has ensured overall development of the state. However, opposition BJP and new political entrant Himachal Lokhit Party (HLP) has different views and termed year long rule as disappointing and full of failures.

Showing disappointment over the Govt functioning, Opposition BJP today is presenting charge-sheet against the state government to Governor Pratibha Singh, whereas HLP has accused both the Congress and the BJP for sheltering corruption and even termed as two sides of a same coin.

HLP leader Khushi Ram Balnatah, in a press conference at Shimla, termed one-year rule of the Virbhadra Government full of failures and believed that people of the state were desperately looking for a political alternative now.

Balnatah said that the Govt has failed to fulfill its tall promises made during the election campaign and completely failed to fight corruption.
