The State Government has appointed senior State Women Congress leader Jenab Chandel as a Chairperson of the HP State Commission for Women for a term of three years.
Chandel hails from Arki tehsil of Solan district and remained Pradhan of Gram Panchayat Ghanagughat for consecutively three terms and has also remained the member of Women Development Corporation besides of various other committees viz: health, education etc.
