Food and Civil Supplies Minister G.S Bali stated that the ration quota for January, 2014 under Public Distribution System had been made available at all the Wholesale Centers of State Civil Supplies Corporation in the State. He asked all depot holders of the State to procure their ration quota for January 2014, well in time.
Bali directed the Officers of the Department to take stern action against defaulter depot holders who do not procure ration quota well in-time and failed to distribute it to the consumers.
He said that it has been decided that the availability of ration quota for the next month will be ensured at the end of current month, in future also so that all depot holders can get their allotted quota well in time and further distribute to the consumers.
