Shimla: Chairman H.P. State Agriculture Marketing Board Dr. Subhash Manglate has accused BJP leaders for framing false and politically motivated allegations against Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh.

In a joint press statement, Dr. Manglate, Vice-Chairman State Industrial Development Corporation Atul Sharma, Vice Chairman Himachal Pradesh Forest Development Corporation Kewal Singh Pathania, Bawa Hardeep Singh Chairman, State Building and Other Construction Workers Board and Chairman Milk Federation Chet Ram alleged that BJP leadership has become directionless and issueless thus they were making baseless statements for fulfilling their political motives.

Congress leaders advised Prem Kumar Dhumal and Anurag Thakur to analyze their misdeeds before leveling false allegations against anybody. They accused that the corruption was in involved at every level in the State during the tenure of previous BJP Government.

Congress leaders questioned Anurag Thakur to explain that how many Himachalis were there in Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association and how many were really getting benefits. They said that Anurag Thakur had misled the honest people of the State for achieving his political motives. They said that in the realty, HPCA was a group of businessmen from Jalandhar who were making money by indulging in cricket related activities. They said that Rs. 2800 crore scam has took place in the State on the name of HPCA with the support of the then BJP Government.

They said that the people of the State were well aware of fact that the previous BJP Government led by Dhumal has crossed all limits just to promote his son Anurag Thakur and to provide various facilities and benefits to HPCA. They said that now when the law was taking its own course of action, the BJP leaders were making attempts to just to divert the attention of the State from their misdeeds for pressuring the Investigating Agencies.
