Dhumal slams PM for his statement over Modi

Hamirpur: Senior BJP leader and leader of opposition Prem Kumar Dhumal slammed Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for his statement against Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi and described the tenure of Manmohan Singh as “disastrous” for the nation.

Earlier today, in a press conference at New Delhi, Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh has speculated that Narendra Modi as Prime Minister will be disastrous for the country and also held him responsible for riots in Gujarat.

Former Chief Minister disapproved PM’s comments against Modi and termed Prime Minister’s press conference shocking and highly disappointing. Dhumal stated that the Nation had earned nothing, but lost too much under the leadership of Manmohan Singh.

Dhumal also has shown his displeasure over PM’s statement on the corruption charges against chief minister Virbhadra Singh. He said it was not understood when the entire nation knew about the allegations, the Prime Minister said that he had no time to consider the issue.

Dhumal stated that the Congress was not serious about the corruption issue and had a double-face on the issue.
