Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh laid foundation stone of various developmental projects in Solan district. The Chief Minister laid foundation stone of Lift Drinking Water Supply Scheme for Chandi area to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 21.69 crore. The scheme would benefit 15805 habitants of 201 villages of the area. He laid foundation stone of ITI building, Kuthar to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 370 lakh and Kuthar School building to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 161.88 lakh and PHC (level-2) building Kuthar to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 42.48 lakh.

Later, Chief Minister inaugurated Government Senior Secondary School (Boys) Solan building constructed at a cost of Rs. 108.21 lakh, new block of Zonal Hospital Solan constructed at a cost of Rs. 4.23 crore and laid foundation stones of seven storied Mini Secretariat building at Solan to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 24.47 crore and Circuit House Solan to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 7.45 crore. He also laid foundation stone of Degree College Dharampur at Mandodhar to be constructed at a cost of Rs. five crore in Solan District today.

Chief Minister also inaugurated Kandaghat-Chausha via Kwarag road constructed at a cost of Rs. 93.32 lakh and Kandaghat-Mahi road constructed at a cost of Rs. 62.31 lakh. He laid foundation stone of Polytechnic College (Girls) Hostel Kangadhat to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 225.51 lakh.
