Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh directed the officers of Himachal Bhawan New Delhi to formulate a plan for the renovation of the Bhawan’s building and ensure its time-bound completion so as to facilitate the visitors. He said that a sum of rupees two crore was already released for the same.

While inspecting the building of the Himachal Bhawan at New Delhi last evening, he interacted with the officers and officials of the Bhawan and gave a patient hearing to their grievances.

General Manager, Himachal Bhawan, Ajay Thakur assured the Chief Minister that the refurbishing work would be completed in a time-bound manner besides ensuring quality work.

Industries and Information & Public Relations Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, Additional Chief Secretary V.C. Pharka, Principal Resident Commissioner P.C. Dhiman and other senior officers were also present along-with him.
