Single Window Clearance authority

The State Level Single Window Clearance & Monitoring Authority (SLSWC & MA) approved six new proposals for setting up of industrial projects in the State during its meeting held here today.

In a meeting presided by the Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh also approved four expansion/revised proposals of the existing units with combined proposed investment of Rs. 56139.40 lakh and expected employment opportunities to 1668 persons.

The new proposals approved by the Authority includes proposals of M/s North India Distillers and Bottlers who has proposed to invest Rs. 810.07 lakh with employment potential to 66 persons for manufacturing of Indian Made Foreign Liquor & Country Liquor (IMFL & CL), M/s Madhav Agro products Pvt. Ltd. who has proposed to invest Rs. 3860.12 lakh with employment potential to 23 persons for setting of Integrated Controlled Atmosphere Cold Storage, M/s Aromatrix Flora Pvt. Ltd., who has proposed to invest Rs. 1120.86 lakh with employment potential to 35 persons for setting up of an Industrial Undertaking for Grading, Sorting & Ware Housing (Cold Storage) of Fruits unit, M/s Auro Textiles (Unit-II), (A unit of Vardhman Textiles Limted), who has proposed to invest Rs. 22858.00 lakh with employment potential to 392 persons for manufacturing of Processed and Printed Fabric, M/s Mahavir Spining Mills (Textiles Division) (Unit-II), ( A unit of Vardhman Textiles Limited) who has proposed to invest Rs. 33028.00 lakh with employment potential to 860 persons for manufacturing of Greige Fabric.

Among the expansion/revised proposals include the proposals of M/s Betts India Pvt. Ltd. who has proposed to invest Rs. 1080.00 lakh with employment potential to 40 persons for manufacturing of Plastic Laminated Tubes, Printing of Plastic Laminated Aluminum Foils and M/s Elofic Industries Limited who has proposed to invest Rs. 1395.00 lakh with employment potential to 56 persons for the manufacture of Auto Filter.

Industry Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, Chief Secretary P.Mitra, Additional Chief Secretary V.C Pharka, Principal Secretary, Forest Tarun Shridhar, Principal Secretary, Finance Shrikant Balsi, Principal Secretary, Power SKBS Negi, Principal Secretary, Industries R.D Dhiman, Secretary Urban Development R.D Nazeem, Director Industries Rajinder Singh, Advisor Industries Rajinder Chauhan, Member Secretary, State Pollution Control Board Vineet Kumar and other senior officers were present in the meeting.
