Central University organising lecture on India’s Economic Foreign Relations

Shahpur: Central University of Himachal Pradesh organising a distinguished lecture on “India’s Economic Relations with some major World Powers” under the aegis of Public Diplomacy Division of Ministry of External Affairs, GOI on 27th August at its Shahpur campus.

Parbati Sen Vyas, Indian Foreign Service (Retd), will be distinguished Speaker on the occasion. Vyas is a known specialist of Economic Diplomacy. She retired as Secretary (Economic Relations), Ministry of External Affairs in 2010, she has served the country in various official capacities for more than 35 years. Before joining as Secretary (Economic Relations), she has also served MEA as Secretary (Public Diplomacy).

To create awareness and better understanding of Indian Foreign Policy to various constituencies within India, the External Publicity and Public Diplomacy Division of Ministry of External Affairs has initiated a “Distinguished Lecture Series” and organising lectures and interactive sessions on contemporary foreign policy themes at major universities and academic institutions across the nation.
