Managing Director Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) R.N. Batta, while presiding over the meeting of HRTC Management with Joint Coordination Committee (JCC) members held here today, revealed that the HRTC Management has accepted almost all the demands of the JCC.

Batta said that 10 per cent Dearness Allowance due from 1st January, 2014 have been released to the employees and pensioners of the Corporation and DA upto September, 2014 would be paid in cash and from October onwards it would be added into the salary.

Managing Director said that the Management had decided to withdraw 48 Hours roster for making the payment of overtime to the crew and in future, overtime dues would be released on 22nd day of the every month. He said that overtime allowance for three months has also been released.

Batta further added that it was decided to implement grant of benefit under ACPS (4-09-14) for all the employees of HRTC. He said that pension benefits, leave encashment and gratuity have been released to the all pensioners and the pendency related with the PPOs, leave encashment and gratuity so accrued would be decided in a meeting held every month.

Managing Director said that as many as 288 posts of Drivers and 680 Conductors would be filled up soon besides filling up of 146 posts of Workshop employees. He added that 800 new buses would be added to the fleet of HRTC.

Batta said that JCC Members in a meeting agreed that on accepting all their demands by the Management of the Corporation, they would not participate in the Strike on 14th October, 2014.

Managing Director said that the Management had accepted all the demands of the employees, after that if any employee participates in the rally, stern action would be taken against them and even the Corporation would cancel the contract of contractual employees. He said that the Corporation would not accept any anti establishment activity at the cost of public.

Roshan Lal Chauhan, President, JCC, Nanak Chand Shandil, General Secretary, Jagrup Singh Vice President, Narender Kumar and all Trade Unions members of JCC were present in the meeting.
