Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh today taken a social media route to respond to the allegations of BJP leaders. Virbhadra Singh in a series of tweets mocked the BJP’s claims of fighting corruption and said that “BJP’s supposed fight against corruption made me laugh.”

Virbhadra Singh twitted “@DhumalHP Ji, your remarks on BJP’s supposed fight against corruption made me laugh. Last time I saw, your own sons were out on bail.”

Singh said that the BJP’s “main achievement is ‘ease of doing corruption’. @AmitShah & son’s miracle of 16,000 times lucre hike happens only in BJP rule. BJP’s fear of real Vikas, as being witnessed in Himachal Pradesh today, is the reason why personal attacks on me is your main agenda.”

Congress leader also blamed BJP for politicizing the sensitive issues of rape and murder case in Kotkhai and raising the issue to gain politically and dramatizing its campaign. Singh twitted “Writing on the wall is clear. BJP is going down. But it grieves me when I hear them politicizing sensitive issue like Gudiya incident.”

Singh also slammed Union Government for not utilizing the funds Nirbhaya Fund. He twitted “HP would be better served if before starting another fund, Modi Ji & @DhumalHP Ji told us all abt utilization of Rs 1000cr Nirbhaya Fund”

Virbhadra Singh also accused Prime Minister Narender Modi and BJP for misusing power and money in the Himachal Pradesh Assembly election. He questioned the source of funding for campaign.
