Sunni: H.P. State Legal Services Authority is collaboration with the Shimla District Legal Services Authority today organized a state level legal services camp at Sunni in Shimla district.

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur inaugurated the camp. While Chief Justice of H.P. High Court Justice Sanjay Karol was the chief guest on the occasion.

The detailed information was provided during the camp regarding various schemes and programmes being implemented by different departments of the state government. Besides, as many as 15 departments put up their stalls exhibiting their products and highlighting their main activities. The illegible people were registered during this occasion for taking benefits of various schemes.

It was revealed that under the new model of National Legal Services Authority, the provision has been made free legal aid from lower courts to Supreme Court of India to the scheduled castes who have annual income limit below one lakh, scheduled tribes, women, minors and physically disabled persons. They can dial 15100 number for availing this facility.

It was informed that subsidy was being given under various schemes for setting up poly-houses, renovation of green houses, micro irrigation schemes and rejuvenating water sources. The industry department providing incentive of Rs. 25000 for innovation under H.P. Chief Minister start up scheme and loans were being given up to Rs. 25 lakh under Pradhan Mantri Rozgar Guarantee Programme.

Similarly detailed information was given about the schemes of Rural Development, Social Justice and Empowerment, Animal Husbandry, Agriculture and Horticulture Departments.

Districts and Session Judge Justice Virender Singh, Member Secretary of H.P. State Legal Services Authority Yashwant Singh Chogal, Officers of various departments and representatives of Panchayati Raj Institute alongwith people of Sunni area in large number were present in the camp.
